Lovely to have a bluebirds nesting at your place. I don't see them very often here. I look forward most to the return of the barn swallows who catch the many bugs that are around our garden.

Ah, I wish we could get Barn Swallows here. They are such graceful swoopers!

Sweet! Time to check on our one bluebird house that is left and make sure no other birds have left nesting materials...I will work hard to keep the English sparrows and wrens out! It worked best when I had a second old nest box a distance from this main house that the darn sparrows could nest in to keep them out of the bluebird house. However, the darn wrens are a continual problem.

It is wonderful to see you have a bluebird returning to enjoy the house you have for them!!

Yes, House Wrens can be a real problem. We can't have bluebirds in the field out the kitchen window because it just gets wrens. For some reason in the garden the bluebirds manage to keep ahead of the wrens. Good luck with your bluebirds.
