Well, lacking a pond or watery place, this one is mot for me. However, I was fascinated by your appreciative and clear descriptions of this little jewel. Thanks again Diane for bring an enlightened and enlightening window on my world.
As always, thanks Diane for the wonderful information not only about a plant, but the insects that enjoy it also!!! What habitat do seedbox like to live? Where to find them? Thanks for your tremendously enjoyable and informative posts...not to mention the fabulous photos!!
Awww.....thank you, Diane, for "cherishing" our comments...As Webster says: "cherish: to hold dear, love, care very much for, feel great affection for, dote on, appreciate; think the world of, set great store by, hold in high esteem; care for, look after, tend, protect, preserve, shelter, keep safe, support, nurture..." This is how you feel about Nature...especially all the tender, often unnoticed teeny details that YOU don't miss, and thank goodness! Annd you are so kind to take the time to share your fun findings, your beyond-great photos of all the lil sweet blossoms and insects and oh-so much more, your interesting observations, the words you choose to describe them, all this and more. We your Gaia Readers are blessed and inspired and enriched by you and your life. We cherish you, too! ;<))
How wonderful, thanks for sharing! The closer you look at nature, the more wonder you find to contemplate. These remind me of poppy seed pods, which I find so delightful - but on microscopic scale.

Very interesting article. I also saw one by our pond this year--something I had not previously noticed. It could grow because the pond was so low.
What amazing miraculous plant detail you have shared with us, from seed and pod to flower bloom, and then a bee I have not heard of or seen (yet)!
Your posts are soothing seeds of love and calm in a troubled world... thank you, thank you!

So lovely. Thank you for sharing this plant I did not know!

This I so cool. Thank you, Diane! PS, on a backpacking trip this weekend, I spied pied-billed grebes and was delighted to know their names. :)

Love the microscopic close ups! So much wondrous beauty in something so very small!
I've never seen this plant, to my knowledge. Thank you for featuring it!
Again...fascinating information. Thank you, Diane.
