Can’t wait for a visit from one! Saw one at our feeder here last year. Such dramatic plumage - like clerical robes...

Thanks Linda! I know. I usually see them after I hear that distinctive song and then look up in the foliage to spot the singer.

One of my very favorite birds. They are only here in northern VA a few days in the spring, passing thru. I wait and watch and am always thrilled when they show up at my feeders. Stunningly beautiful.
