It was January. It was very warm for an Iowa January. It seemed very cold at times, even for Iowa. It rained. It snew. The wind blew. I planted seeds. I looked at the calendar and counted days and said thank you for every one.

I love the idea of a calendar with a photo a day. I especially liked the Harrier Hawk. Surprised to see a Carolina Wren in the snow and the Trumpeter Swans. Was the Muskrat in your pond? We have SO many sparrows but I can't tell them apart!
